Lucky Angler, fishing under the ice for a golden lure
Catfish, crayfish and ice-carved letters under a frozen lake, a bet panel with three separate boxes, and a golden fishing lure that works as the wild.
Ice fishing is an odd subject for a slot aimed at players in Malaysia, where the nearest frozen lake is a long flight away. Lucky Angler makes it work with cartoon fish that look as surprised as anyone to be caught. We only have two screenshots of it from the Live22 app, and one of them is mostly covered by a win banner, so this page stays short.
Under the ice
The top of the screen is a snowy bank with a few wooden huts. Below that is a sheet of ice, and the reels sit in the dark blue water beneath it. Two huge fish peer in from the edges, a red one with bulging lips on the left and a blue one on the right.
The higher symbols sit in round ice frames: an orange whiskered catfish, a bronze crayfish and a blue fish with its mouth wide open. The low pays are J, Q, K and A carved out of ice. In the first screenshot, line 1 runs across the middle row, and crayfish land side by side on reels 3 and 4 while the Win box stays at 0.
The bet panel
Lucky Angler doesn't use the round-cornered panel most Live22 slots share. It has the same frame as the Jingle Winnings section on the Live22 page: a back arrow top left, a Royale Spinz badge on the jackpot bar with a View Jackpot tab under it, and three boxes for Bet Value, Line and Line Bet, each with plus and minus. Total Bet and Win sit to the right, with Max Bet, Auto Spin and a large Spin button.
The line markers run 1 to 20 down both sides, in a scrambled order. In our shots only line 1 is active, at a line bet of 1, so each spin costs 1. At that same bet of 1, the second screenshot shows a win of 40. We've left it out because it is mostly a big-win banner. Behind the banner you can make out the wild: a golden fish-shaped lure marked WILD, on reel 1.
