Joker123: the lobby, the install and twelve slots from it

The old overview was pure sales talk: a claim to the top spot in Malaysia, a promise of slots, table games and live dealers, then a Play Now button and a chat box. The screenshots the old site kept tell a plainer story. Joker123 is a slot app first: one lobby of tiled games with a menu down the side, and inside each game the same black frame with jackpot meters on top and a bet bar underneath. This page covers that lobby, the install step, and the twelve slots the old site gave short pages of their own. Three more Joker123 games, Safari Life, Thun Ten God and Water Margin, have more screens to go through and keep separate pages.

What the Joker123 lobby looks like

The lobby screenshot came from the old install page. A JOKER logo sits top left, then a balance box (in MYR on this account, blurred here), a trophy button, and an operator's logo in the right corner that we've blurred as well. Down the left side runs the Games menu: All Games, Coming Soon, E Casino, Multiplayer, Single Player, Slot Games, Tournament, View and Live Games. So the app does list casino and live tables, as the old text said, but none of the old screenshots show one.

The All Games view is a grid of tiles with NEW and HOT ribbons. The first two rows hold Speedy Queen, Beanstalk, Huga, Super Derby, Alice, White Snake, Monkey Thunderbolt 3D, Pan Jin Lian, Money Bang Bang, Monkey 3D Plus, Animal Band and Thunder God. Some tiles carry a running figure such as 451.29 or 441.57, which reads like a jackpot pool shared by those games. The Thunder God tile shows the same white-bearded sage as the game the old site filed as Thun Ten God, so that is most likely its name in the lobby.

How an ID and credit work on Joker123

There is no sign-up form inside Joker123. An agent, or a website with access to the Joker123 back office, creates a game ID and a password for you. You top up by bank transfer, DuitNow or e-wallet to the account they name, and they load the same value onto your ID. Joker123 keeps its own balance, separate from 918Kiss, Mega888 or any other app, and cashing out means asking the same people to take credit off your ID and send money back to your bank. How fast that happens depends only on them.

Inside the games the unit changes. The top bar shows your ID and balance in GP, game points, and every bet and win is counted in GP too. In our screenshots the bet is 0.01 or 0.06 GP per line. Ask how GP relates to ringgit before you send anything, try a small withdrawal early, and never share your banking login or TAC with anyone. The frame every Joker123 slot shares

Every slot below sits in the same frame, which helps once you've learned it. Along the top: the ID and balance (blurred in our pictures), two to four jackpot meters, and sound, info and home buttons. The meters come in two sets. Most games show Major, Random and Minor, while Robin Hood, Silver Bullet Progressive and Safari Life show Grand, Major, Minor and Mini. Along the bottom: LINES (or WAYS on 5 Dragons), PLAY with minus and plus buttons for the bet per line, TOTAL PLAY, WIN, and SPIN, which starts auto spin if you hold it down.

Payline numbers are printed down both sides of the reels, and winning lines are drawn across them in colour while the losing symbols turn grey. The info button opens the pay table. Several of the old screenshots are those pay tables, and most of the numbers on this page come from them.

Installing Joker123

The old download page had two buttons for Joker123 and nothing else: one for iPhone and one for Android. Both files sat on a private file host that no longer exists, and we don't host or link app files. Joker123 isn't in Google Play or the App Store, so any install comes as a file from someone.

On Android that means an APK and the "install unknown apps" permission. Android grants it per source, for example to your browser or file manager, so switch it off again once the game is installed. A slot app never needs accessibility access, SMS access or the right to install other apps. Refuse those.

On iPhone the old button installed the app through an enterprise profile that you had to trust by hand under Settings, General, VPN & Device Management. Apple revokes those certificates when it finds them, and then the app won't open until you get a new build. Only take a file from whoever issued your ID. The install notes cover the other eleven apps the same way.

Joker123 games on this page

Twelve slots, in alphabetical order. The old notes were a paragraph each, and several described a different game of the same name, with coin amounts and features that don't appear on the screens. Everything below comes from the screenshots: the reel layout, the bet bar and the pay tables where we have them.

5 Dragons

Red and gold, with 243 ways instead of lines: the bottom bar reads WAYS 243, 0.01 GP a unit and 0.50 GP total play. The pay table puts the phoenix on top at 2,000 for five, then the stone lion and the golden carp at 1,500, the turtle and the red envelope at 500. A gold coin is the scatter, and any coin win starts the feature, where you choose 25, 20, 15, 13 or 10 free games. In free games coloured dragon heads replace the normal wild and multiply the win they help make: by 2, 3 or 5 with 25 games, up to 10, 15 or 30 with 10 games. Red envelopes on reels 1 and 5 during free games add a bonus prize, and in the base game the wild lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 only.

Miami

Beach bar colours: palm trees and deck chairs behind the reels, and a blue frame with 25 line numbers down each side. The symbols are beer with a mug, cocktails, lobster on a plate, a yellow convertible, a cruise ship, a beach hotel and two cartoon beachgoers. A palm tree marked Wild fills in for the others. In the screenshots the bet is 0.01 GP a line, so 0.25 GP a spin with all 25 lines, and a win lights up its symbols while the rest of the reels go grey. The old page spent most of its words on auto spin, which on this app is simply holding the SPIN button down.

Ocean Paradise

Cartoon sea life on a blue grid with small shell markers for the lines. The old text said 243 ways, but the screens show LINES 9, with 0.01 to 0.06 GP a line. Purple dolphins, clownfish, pufferfish, seahorses, turtles, an octopus and gold fish coins fill the reels, and the treasure chest marked BONUS is the one to watch. Three chests on the reels open a pick round. Stage 1 shows a sunken ship and a row of closed chests, a dolphin swims across, and you open chests for a prize, with a TIMES counter in the corner. The next screenshot in the set shows one chest opened and its prize on screen.

Panther Moon

Night colours: dark purple reels, a full moon and a black panther. There are 15 lines here, with 0.01 or 0.06 GP a line in the screenshots. The panther is the wild, and the pay table says it substitutes for everything except the scatter and doubles any win it is part of; five of them pay 10,000. Below it come the owl and the wolf at 750 for five, the moth at 500, the flowers at 250, and card ranks from 150 down to 100. The moonlit lake is the scatter, and three or more lead to 15 free games with every win tripled. If that layout looks familiar, Safari Heat further down uses the same one with animals.

Robin Hood

A forest slot with a wanted poster pinned to a tree beside the reels. It has 15 lines and the four-meter jackpot bar (Grand, Major, Minor, Mini) instead of the usual three. The reels mix cartoon faces from the legend, a friar, a big man with a raised fist, a sneering nobleman in purple and Robin with his bow, with objects: the feathered green hat, red apples, a money bag, a shield, a scroll sealed with a red rose, and a hunting horn marked Scatter. The gold Robin Hood Wild plaque shows up on reels 2 and 3 in our shots and joins wins with the hats and scrolls. Bets in the screenshots run from 0.01 to 0.06 GP a line.

Safari Heat

Same frame and same pay-table layout as Panther Moon, moved to the African plains. It has 15 lines at 0.01 GP each. The lion is the wild, standing in for all but the scatter and doubling wins, with 10,000 for five. Elephant and rhino pay 750 for five, flamingo 500, zebra and wildebeest 250. An acacia tree at sunset is the scatter, and three or more start 15 free games at triple pay. The animals are painted rather than cartoon, on black, so the coloured win frames are easy to follow. Joker123's cartoon safari game is a different slot: Safari Life has 50 lines and a bonus game. The LPE88 version of Safari Heat has its own section on that app's page.

Silver Bullet

A Wild West slot with nine lines, which the first screenshot draws across the reels in bright colours. The pay table is one long strip under a Silver Bullet Slots sign: horse, banknotes, horseshoe, pipe, wagon wheel, hat, whisky bottle, red seven and bomb, then a barrel paying 10,000 for five. The sheriff's star is wild, substituting for all symbols and doubling any win, and a revolver is the scatter, paying 100 for five anywhere on the reels. The old text described a Dollar Ball lottery side game, which isn't on any of these screens. Bets in the screenshots are 0.01 GP a line, 0.09 GP a spin.

Silver Bullet Progressive

The same Wild West reels as Silver Bullet, with the four-meter jackpot bar across the top: Grand, Major, Minor and Mini. In all our screenshots every meter reads 0.00, so we can't say what they build up to. The reels are cream-coloured, with barrels, coiled rope, wagon wheels, a whisky bottle, horseshoes, pipes, cowboy hats, money bags and bombs, and nine numbered lines on each side. One screenshot shows a pink line across the bottom row paying 0.20 GP on a 0.09 GP spin. The old page praised a watercolour style and cartoon sound effects. The pictures look plain and tidy rather than painted.

Sparta

Gold letters on dark stone, and 30 lines, the most lines of any slot on this page. Round Spartan shields, a sword, a painted Greek vase, a catapult and a crested helmet sit among the card ranks. The pay table puts the helmet on top at 4,000 for five, then the catapult at 2,000 and the vase at 750. The warrior is an expanding wild that appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 only, and a row of shields in the desert is the scatter: three or more give 15 free games at double pay. The old page described a different Sparta slot with two sets of reels and King Leonidas moving between them. This one has a single set.

Supreme Caishen

Red temple pillars with carved dragons, paper lanterns and a street at dusk frame the reels. There are 25 lines at 0.01 GP each, so 0.25 GP a spin in our shots. The symbols are a collection of lucky charms: gold ingot, red envelopes, firecrackers, a pot of lucky bamboo, a jade ornament, a beckoning cat, gold coins, a golden rooster, a lion-dance head, a Fa Cai scroll and a white radish. The god of wealth himself appears as a large smiling symbol lit in orange. We have no pay table for this one, and the old text about scatters paying from any position didn't match these screens, so we leave the pays out.

Thai Paradise

Turquoise and teal, with a woman wearing a flower in her hair, a white elephant in a red saddle cloth, a longtail boat and a temple, plus card ranks drawn in a Thai-style script. It has 15 lines. The pay table puts the woman at 5,000 for five and the elephant at 2,000, the temple and the boat at 750. A pink lotus is the scatter, and it leads to 10 free games plus a mystery scatter. The old text said the game has no wild and offers a red-or-black gamble up to 750 credits. Neither shows here, and the lotus panel is headed "substitutes for all symbols", so the lotus seems to double as the wild.

Three Kingdoms

Portraits from the Three Kingdoms saga on pale reels: a general in a green hood, an armoured lord, a strategist with a feather fan, a young woman, a red horse, a bow and quiver, and a jade seal with a dragon on top. Nine lines. Every symbol has two prices, the normal line pay and an All Same prize for filling the whole screen with it, from 50 times for the bow to 5,000 times for the seal. Crossed battle flags are the wild, standing in for everything but the bonus symbol. Three, four or five bonus symbols in a win start the bonus game once, twice or three times. Thun Ten God uses the same All Same table with gods instead of generals.
