NTC33, the Newtown Casino client, from its own screens

The old NTC33 page on this site was three paragraphs of brochure copy about innovation, the best graphics and the best maths, followed by a Play Now button and a Contact Us button that led nowhere. It never showed you the lobby. The screenshots filed with it and with its twelve game pages tell the real story: NTC33 is the Newtown Casino client, a lobby of Playtech slots with a live dealer section and a few jackpot families that run across several games.

What the NTC33 lobby looks like

The widest shot comes from the Windows client, with a normal title bar, a clock in the bottom corner and a green connection light. The Newtown logo sits in the top left corner, then a welcome line with the player ID and the balance in MYR next to a CASHIER button. We blurred the ID and balance. A banner for Zhao Cai Tong Zi fills the middle of the top bar, and HELP and CONTACT US sit on the right.

The GAMES menu down the left lists New Games, Favorites, Video Slots, Classic Slots, Live Dealers, Macau, Arcade Games, Table & Card Games and Scratch Cards, with a search box at the bottom. Open Video Slots and it splits again by line count: 5 to 10 lines, 15 to 20, 25 and more, then Multi Spin, Progressive and All Ways. That filter is handy, because NTC33 slots range from 8 lines to 40. The first two rows of tiles run Zhao Cai Tong Zi, Si Xiang, Zhao Cai Jin Bao, Sun Wukong, Bai Shi, Geisha Story, Thai Paradise, Fei Long Zai Tian, The Great Ming Empire, Fortune Jump, The Riches of Don Quixote and Vacation Station Deluxe. You can switch between a list and a grid and sort the tiles.

Inside the games you'll notice two skins. The older one has a dark strip across the top reading SLOTS, TABLE & CARDS, ARCADE, SCRATCH and LIVE DEALERS; the newer one reads New Games, Classic Slots, Video Slots, Table Games and Progressive Games. Some games print amounts as MYR, others as RM. Both mean ringgit.

Several games also share jackpot families. The Age of the Gods slots carry four counters named Power, Extra Power, Super Power and Ultimate Power, with the Ultimate one close to RM500,000 on every screenshot. Wu Lu Cai Shen and Five Tiger Generals share a "5 of a kind jackpot" column with one amount per character, and Zhao Cai Jin Bao has four dragon boxes of its own.

How an ID and credit work on NTC33

Whatever the Cashier button does, most players in Malaysia never use it. An agent, or a website with back-office access, creates your NTC33 username and password. You send ringgit by bank transfer, DuitNow or an e-wallet to the account they name, and they load the same amount as credit on your ID. Withdrawals go the other way: you ask, they take the credit off and pay your bank. Your NTC33 balance is separate from anything you hold on LPE88 or Rollex11, even though those apps carry many of the same Playtech slots.

Screenshot every transfer, start small and try a small withdrawal before a balance builds up. Nobody needs your online banking password or a TAC.

Installing NTC33

The old download page offered four things: an Android build with the slots only, a second Android build with the live dealer games, a Windows program, and a browser version. NTC33 has never been in Google Play or the App Store.

On Android, installing a file from outside the Play Store means letting your browser or file manager install unknown apps. That permission is granted per app, so switch it off again once NTC33 is installed. The Windows program is an unsigned installer from outside any store, so expect a SmartScreen warning, and don't turn off your antivirus to get past it.

We don't host any of these files and the old file host is gone. Take one only from whoever issued your ID, and if an installer asks for accessibility access or permission to read your SMS, cancel it: those let an app read your screen and the TAC messages from your bank. NTC33 games on this page

Each of these twelve games had its own page on the old site, usually a paragraph of translated review text that often described features the screenshots never show. They're now short sections written from those screenshots. Three NTC33 games keep a full page: Yu Wang Da Di, Age of the Gods: Furious 4 and Age of the Gods: Prince of Olympus.

5 Tiger General

On screen the title reads Five Tiger Generals, under the Chinese characters for the five tiger generals of the Three Kingdoms. The heroes are drawn in round frames: a long-bearded general in green, an old archer drawing a bow, a fierce warrior in red and two young officers in silver and blue armour. Red banners with a gold tiger face act as the wild. The game plays 15 lines, and every shot has a line bet of RM0.20 for a total of RM3. The column on the right is the 5 of a kind jackpot, one amount per general, from about RM84 for the archer up to RM3,076 for the green general. A banner over the reels says 3 or more logo coins anywhere trigger the Unlimited Tiger Generals Free Games.

Age of the Gods: Fate Sisters

The three Fates of Greek myth run this one from a purple temple between marble columns. Each sister has a symbol of her own, a white-haired woman with a lamp, one in green holding a thread and one on an orange ground, next to golden shears and a spindle. The wild is a gold tile with three faces in profile, and the scatter is a glowing blue doorway. Reels one, three and five matter most: a banner explains that a sister on each of them triggers the Sisters' Gift feature. It plays 25 lines at RM0.01 a line for RM0.25. The four Age of the Gods jackpots sit in the corners. LPE88 carries the same game in its own Fate Sisters section.

Vacation Station Deluxe

This is the smallest grid in the NTC33 set: three reels of three, with eight numbered lines marked round the edge. A cartoon tourist with a camera and a suitcase stands in front of an airport terminal on the right. The symbols are all ways to travel: a yellow motorbike, a red sports car, a sailing boat, a bus, a small jet, a hot air balloon, a cruise ship, a green submarine, a pink bullet train and a suitcase covered in stickers. The coin sits at RM0.01, the line bet at RM0.03 and the bet at RM0.06. Buttons for ALL LINES, BET ONE, BET MAX and TURBO MODE run along the bottom. The old page talked about a jackpot, but no jackpot meter appears on any of the five screens.

Viking Mania

Wooden card letters on parchment, a pine forest behind and a cheerful cast. The wild is a blond Viking chief in a horned helmet. Around him are a roast boar in a round frame, a red-haired Viking woman, a red-bearded Viking with a tankard, a war hammer, a drinking horn and a treasure map. It plays 20 lines at MYR0.01 each for MYR0.20. Two banners take turns above the reels: one says 5 boars pay 10,000 times the line bet, the other asks you to collect all 5 BONUS symbols to start the Viking Playtime Bonus. The old page described a throwing game with tomatoes and axes. That may be the bonus, but no screenshot shows it.

White King

White King swaps the usual three rows for four. Its reels are dark blue with silver card ranks, and the pictures are white lions: a stacked lion head that can fill a whole reel, a lioness lying down at sunset and two cubs, plus an eagle, a gold crown and a red White King badge. The markers on both sides say 40 lines, and at RM0.01 a line the total bet is RM0.40. One banner promises 1,000 times the line bet for five lion heads, another says White King symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4 trigger the Majestic Night Free Games. In our best shot the lion heads cover all of reels one and three.

Wild Gambler

A cartoon savannah inside a bamboo frame, with a flamingo, a zebra, a leopard and a rhino over animal-print card letters. The paytable hides in a buffalo skull and auto play in a hollow log. What sets it apart is Lock & Spin. A pop-up explains that you can click symbols to add or remove wilds, then spin with those wilds locked in place, and that the bet changes with the number of wilds in view. In that screenshot the normal stake is RM0.20 at RM0.01 a line over 20 lines, and the Lock & Spin stake beside it is RM0.70. Locking wilds raises the price of the next spin, and an Auto-Lock switch sits in the corner.

Wild Spirit

Native American themes, drawn with care rather than as a cartoon. The pictures are a bald eagle, a chief in a feathered headdress, a young woman with a beaded headband, a white horse and a painted drum with a beater, and the card letters look carved from wood with coloured cloth tied round them. The wild is a misty tile with WILD in flaming letters. The panel is laid out differently from the other NTC33 slots: a coin of RM0.01, a SPINS counter set to 10, 20 lines, RM0.10 a line and a bet of RM2. In one screenshot a line of four Q symbols pays RM3, with the wild sitting just below it. The 27 free spins with multipliers mentioned on the old page don't appear.

Wing of Gold

The reels actually say Wings of Gold, over a sky full of clouds. Old warplanes fly across the reels: a green twin-boom fighter, a grey jet and a tan fighter with red stripes. A pilot in a leather helmet and goggles and a Wings of Gold badge join them, and the card ranks look like riveted metal plates. A flaming Wild tile turns up in one spin, completing a one-line win of MYR0.30. The panel runs 20 lines, and the screens show MYR0.01 a line for MYR0.20 and MYR0.10 on a single line. A badge in the top right corner reads XtraWin, Click to Activate, and a pop-up in the corner announces it as a new feature.

Wu Long

Wu Long opens on a temple roof at night with fireworks going off behind it, all in purple and gold. The pictures are a red temple gate, a paper lantern, a pair of brass cymbals, a string of firecrackers, a drum and two women in red and green holding a fan and a parasol, and the card ranks are drawn in gold brush strokes. It has 25 lines, numbered on both sides, and the bet runs from RM0.01 on one line to RM0.25 with all 25. The panel has the usual BET MAX, AUTO PLAY and TURBO MODE buttons. The old page promised a dragon that brings free spins; none of the five screens shows one.

Wu Lu Cai Shen

Five gods of wealth, one in each colour, grin from the reels: red, gold, green, purple and blue, each with a scroll or an ingot. A pot overflowing with gold coins and card ranks fill the gaps, a string of firecrackers hangs on the left and a pink pig sits by the SPIN button. The 5 of a kind jackpot column on the right has one amount for each god. The game plays 15 fixed lines. One screenshot tried RM1 a line for RM15 and got an "insufficient balance" warning, and the rest drop to RM0.20 a line for RM3. A banner explains that 3 or more coins anywhere trigger the Unlimited Cai Shen Free Games.

Zao Chai Jin Bao

Spelled Zhao Cai Jin Bao Jackpot on the reels, this is a red and gold slot framed by lanterns, with four jackpot boxes held by dragons at the top. The biggest, in gold, sat at RM303,628, then red at RM11,520, blue at RM937 and green at RM269. The pictures are a phoenix, a green and gold dragon, a golden lion guardian, a pair of koi and a gold ingot. Even the card ranks carry small pictures: a fan on the J, a peach on the 9, a coin on the K, eggs in a nest on the 10 and a pearl on the Q. It has 9 lines at RM0.01 each, so a full spin costs RM0.09. LPE88 has it too, as Zhao Cai Jin Bao Jackpot.

Zao Chai Tong Zi

The same lucky children who smile from the lobby banner. On screen the name is Zhao Cai Tong Zi, the fortune-bringing children, and three of them appear: a girl hugging a gold ingot, a boy with a fish and a girl with a peach. A lion dance head joins them, along with lanterns marked with the character for luck, a lucky bag, firecrackers, coins tied with red string, red packets and a pineapple stamped with the character for prosperity. New Year couplets hang down both sides. It plays 9 lines at RM0.01 a line, so RM0.09 a spin. The old page itself said there are no free spins or side games, and nothing on the screens contradicts that.
