3Win8: four lobby doors, a fishing room and thirteen games

The old 3Win8 overview said the app came out in April 2016 and suited players bored of SCR888, then sent readers to a download site, a Play Now button and a Contact Us link. It never described the app. The old site did keep a lobby screenshot, a fishing room and three or four screens from each of thirteen games, and this page is built on those. Two more 3Win8 games, the Horse Derby 2015 GI race and the Fei Long Feng Wu animal wheel, have pages of their own because they are betting boards rather than slots.

What the 3Win8 lobby looks like

The home screen is short on menus. A 3WIN8 logo in rainbow letters sits top left, a bar with the player name (hidden) next to it, and a gear button for the settings. Under a night skyline one JACKPOT counter stood at 390,462.09 when the screenshot was taken. Four large doors fill the middle. ONLINE GAMES is drawn with playing cards, mahjong tiles and Chinese chess pieces. ENTERTAINMENT CITY has a roulette wheel, a baccarat table and chip stacks. 777 is a Lucky Slot machine, and HOT GAMES shows a crab and a dragon in flames. Along the bottom run the username box (blurred), a CHAMPION TODAY podium with three trophy avatars, and the balance, 0.00 on this account. The corner reads version 5.1.1, and a hostess in a bunny costume at the right edge is blurred here.

The second lobby shot is from behind the Hot Games door: a fishing room seen from above, the kind of table many players know from 918Kiss. Six cannon seats ring a green pond. Five read Empty with a 00:28 countdown, and the one in use at the bottom fires 0.20 a shot with 138.12 credit beside it. Yellow puffers, clownfish, lionfish, a turtle, two blue marlins and a gold-plated shark swim through. The old site never named this room, so we can't say which fishing title it is.

How an ID and credit work on 3Win8

3Win8 has no sign-up inside the app. An agent, or a website with back-office access, creates the ID and password. You pay in ringgit by bank transfer, DuitNow or e-wallet, and they load the same value as credit. The balance belongs to 3Win8 only: credit on 918Kiss or any of the other apps stays where it is. To withdraw you ask the same people to take credit off the ID and pay your bank, and the speed depends on them alone.

Start small, try a small withdrawal early and screenshot every transfer. Nobody running your ID needs your banking password or TAC. The partner box on this page is the only sign-up link here.

You must be 18 or over. Online gambling is illegal in Malaysia, so a lost top-up has no official route back. Our responsible gaming notes list the limits worth setting first.

The frame around every 3Win8 slot

Inside a game the top bar hardly changes. On the left is the balance next to a poker chip. In the middle a ticker scrolls through other players' results, a partly hidden ID followed by the room and a line such as "won JACKPOT 900.28". On the right sit BACK, a question mark for the pay table and a gear. Most slots add three jackpot meters over the reels, Random Jackpot in the middle with Minor and Major on either side. The random meter crept from 16,100 to 16,555 across different games, so it looks shared.

Five of the thirteen slots are one game in different clothes. Great China, Iceland, Indian Myth, Japan Fortune and Jin Lian Xing Ye each have 50 lines on 5 reels of 3 and pay tables with identical numbers. The wild lands on reel 3 only, stretches to cover the whole reel before pays are counted, and triples any win it is part of. The scatter pays 2 for two, starts the feature with three, pays 9 plus the feature for four and 33 plus the feature for five. The two top pictures pay 3,333 for five, or 9,999 with the wild. Learn one and you know all five.

Along the bottom: lines, bet per line, a BET and WIN box, AUTO and SPIN. After a win AUTO turns into GAMBLE. Bets on our screens run from 0.01 to 0.10 a line.

Installing 3Win8

The old download page had three entries and no text: an Android phone file, a Windows computer installer and an iPhone install through a profile. The files sat on a download host that is gone now, and this site doesn't host or link app files.

3Win8 has never been in Google Play or the App Store. On Android the install means allowing "install unknown apps" for your browser or file manager. Android grants that per app, so switch it off again afterwards. The iPhone route used an enterprise profile that you trust by hand under Settings, General, VPN & Device Management. Apple revokes such certificates when it finds them, and the app then stops opening until someone ships a new build.

Take a file only from whoever issued your ID. A slot app never needs accessibility access, SMS access or the right to install other apps, so refuse those and uninstall anything that asks. The install notes for all twelve apps repeat these checks.

3Win8 games on this page

Thirteen games in alphabetical order. The old pages were mostly translated review copy, and several contradict their own screenshots. The notes below come from the screens and pay tables.

Fong Shen

Characters from the Investiture of the Gods novel, in a painted style, stand on reels set between two stone guardians. Five element coins hang above them: earth, fire, water, wood and metal. There are 9 lines, paying from the far left or the far right reel. The pay table puts an old sage in white on top at 1,000 for five, then a woman in purple at 400, a young swordsman at 200 and a woman in red at 160. A blue dragon, a fire bird, a white crane and a blue beast fill the lower pays.

The wild is a yin-yang bagua that replaces everything except the element coins. A bonus screen shows four portraits marked x2 to x5 over a scroll of ink-drawn figures. The Play8oy page has its own Fong Shen notes.

Football

The logo says Football Rules, and it is a plain 25-line slot. The old page described a World Cup match game with 32 teams and 90-spin matches, and none of that appears here. The reels hold football shirts in five designs, a ball, a goalkeeper in front of his net and a referee with a whistle.

A fan with a painted face is the wild, paying 10,000 for five and standing in for everything but the scatter and the bonus. The stadium is the scatter, 50 times the total bet for five. A man holding a trophy is the bonus symbol, and it starts the bonus round when it lands on reels 1 and 5. Wins run left to right only. In our last screenshot three red shirts on line 1 paid 0.20 at 0.04 a line.

Frog Jump

No reels at all. Frog Jump is a race: five coloured frogs numbered 1 to 5 swim across a pond from log markers to lily pads, and you bet on the winner. The old page described a frog prince slot with castles and a crown paying 500 times, so it was about some other game.

On the betting board each frog carries its odds for the round, 4, 40, 2, 12 and 5 in our screenshot. A Bonus meter shows 1,000, the chip button is 0.50 and a Last Result strip lists recent winners. The rules screen names four extras: a rainbow Joker frog that counts as every frog, a x2, x3 or x4 Multiplier on the winner, a Free Frog that adds one more winning frog, and a random Jackpot. Horse Derby runs on the same idea with pairs of horses.

Fruity Tutti

Cartoon fruit on wooden planks, a rainbow behind the fence. The old page said 20 lines; the panel here counts to 25. A grinning lemon waving a green flag is the wild. It pays 10,000 for five, replaces everything but the scatter and doubles the wins it helps make.

Bananas and watermelon pay 750 for five, plums 400, kiwi and grapes 250. A waving orange is the scatter, and the table promises up to 33 free spins with up to a x15 multiplier. The old page praised a slider for reel speed, which none of our screens shows.

Golden Tour

A cartoon golf course with a golfer mid-swing behind the logo. It's a small game, 5 lines on 5 reels, paying from either end. Shoes, a beer, a red flag, a golf bag, a buggy and orange and blue balls fill the reels, and a pair of yellow balls is the wild at 2,000 for five.

The wild pair can stand in for the blue and orange balls, and a wild combination can pay both ways on the same line. The scatters are a gopher, a duck and a fish: three on reels 1 to 3 or 3 to 5 start free games. The old page described a golf bonus where you pick a club and aim, but the table here only speaks of free games. See also the ACE333 Golden Tour.

Great China (Zong Hua Zhi Zui)

Red paper-cut patterns and gold everywhere: stone lions, an incense burner, the Great Wall, a 福 medallion and a smiling official in a red hat. The official and the Great Wall top the table at 3,333 for five. A red star is the scatter.

The wild is a panda. The old page put it on reels 2 and 4, but the pay table in our screenshot says reel 3 only, where it expands and triples the prize, as on the other four twins. At 0.01 a line, two lions on line 13 paid 0.03. ACE333 has a Great China section too.

Great Stars

Nine lines on a red board framed in gold. The pictures are a peach with coins, a golden koi, a lotus, a painted fan and a pagoda, with gold-edged letters for the low pays. The peach tops the table at 10,000 for five.

A laughing Buddha is the wild. He lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 only and doubles the win he helps make. The pagoda scatter has to land on reels 1 to 3 or 3 to 5, and three, four or five of them give 10, 15 or 25 free games on top of the scatter pay. All lines pay left to right or right to left. The Sky777 page covers its own Great Stars screens.

Green Light

Motor racing on a chequered background: a blue rally car, a champagne bottle, a gold trophy car, a racing driver and a portrait of a grid girl, with 9 to A in chequered letters. The game has 20 lines.

The driver is the substitute and doubles the prize. The scatter is a race light: two or more turn red or green, and only green ones pay. Three or more green lights start the racing feature, where you pick one of five cars and watch them race. First to fifth place earns 25, 20, 15, 10 or 5 free games, with prizes doubled. If your car finishes first or second, another race follows, paying 100, 50, 25, 10 or 5 times the triggering bet.

Highway Kings

Trucks, tyres and spark plugs, and no card letters at all. Nine lines, paying in both directions. A steering wheel and a tyre are the lowest pays, then a piston, red dice, a spark plug, a fuel pump and a jerrycan, then green, yellow and red trucks, the last at 10,000 for five.

A red truck marked WILD appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 only and doubles its wins. A red road-sign scatter on reels 1 to 3 or 3 to 5 gives 10, 15 or 25 free games. In our last screenshot five pistons on line 3 paid 2.00, and the WIN box shows 4.00 because the line counted from both ends. Iceland

Pack ice under a pale sky. A walrus and an orca pay 3,333 for five, a wolf 333, and penguins share a slot with a snowy owl at 333 as well. An igloo is the scatter.

The polar bear wild shows what the reel 3 rule looks like in play: in our last screenshot the bear fills the whole middle reel. For once the old page's numbers match the table, with the walrus at 3,333 rising to 9,999 when the wild is involved. Mega888 has an Iceland section of its own.

Indian Myth (Yin Du Shen Hua)

Gold filigree around purple reels and the Taj Mahal over the logo. A five-headed golden cobra and a portrait of a bearded man pay 3,333 for five, then come a lit oil lamp and a dancer with a lotus. The Taj Mahal is the scatter.

The wild is a painted elephant. When it expands it turns into one tall picture of an elephant in festival colours with two riders on its back. The old page talked of a wild that copies itself onto other reels; the table only says it expands on reel 3 and triples the prize. Other versions sit on the Mega888 and ACE333 pages.

Japan Fortune

A lake with a red torii and a castle behind the reels,. A geisha and a castle top the table at 3,333; a torii gate pays 333, and so does a beckoning cat with a fortune cookie.

The old page placed the wild on reels 2 and 4. As with the rest of this group, the pay table says reel 3 only. The wild is a sumo wrestler, and one screenshot shows him expanded down the whole reel. A red daruma doll is the scatter. Mega888 has a Japan Fortune section with its own screens.

Jin Lian Xing Ye

The last of the five twins, with the same 50 lines, the same reel 3 wild that expands and triples, and the same scatter table. The theme comes from the story of Pan Jinlian in the classic novels. A woman in red is the wild and a man in dark robes the scatter, and the other pictures include a red calligraphy character, a crystal ball on a cushion and a gold figurine beside an open book. Only Minor and Major jackpot meters sit over these reels, with no Random Jackpot. The art leans suggestive and the English logo is crude, so this section has no screenshot.
