Horse Derby 2015 GI, a six-horse race you bet on in pairs
No reels, just six horses and a triangle of odds: how the Horse Derby 2015 GI board reads, what the four extras do and what the finish looks like.
The old page for this game was a single line about a huge jackpot. The four screenshots say a lot more. Horse Derby 2015 GI has no reels at all: six numbered horses run a short race on a dirt track, and you bet on which two come in first and second. It sits in the 3Win8 app among the slots.
Reading the odds board
The betting screen is a triangle of boxes. Horses 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 head the columns and horses 1 to 5 the rows, so each box stands for one pair, fifteen in all, and each shows its odds for the coming race. In our screenshot 1 and 3 was 125, 1 and 4 was 5, 2 and 6 was 1,000, 3 and 6 was 3, and 5 and 6 was 8. A 0.50 chip sat on 1 and 3, and Total Bets read 0.50.
Next to the grid are three tips with no explanation: Starter 6, Sprinter 1 and Finisher 2. They read like form hints for the race. A Last 5 Result panel on the right lists recent pairs with what they paid: 2 and 5 at 4, 1 and 4 at 5, 1 and 3 at 4 twice, then 2 and 5 again at 60. The same pair paying 4 in one race and 60 in another shows the odds are set fresh each time. NEW GAME starts the next race.
The four extras
A rules screen lists four features. Jackpot, drawn as a winged white horse, pays total bets x100 to the winner. Joker, a rainbow horse, substitutes for everything except Jackpot, Multiplier and Free Number. Free Number gives the winner one extra number, shown as the pair 1 and 6 with a 5 added. Multiplier, pictured by a fallen jockey, multiplies a win by 3, 5 or 7. None of them shows up in our race screenshots.
The race itself
A countdown over the starting gates opens the race, and the horses run left to right in silks matching their number. Our last screenshot is the finish: horse 2 in red crosses ahead of horse 5 in black, and the result comes up as 2 and 5 with the odds of 4 in large red figures.

Races are over quickly and the next is one tap away. Players must be 18 or over, and online gambling is illegal in Malaysia. The responsible gaming page has a few limits worth setting first.
Questions people ask
Is Horse Derby 2015 GI a slot?
No. There are no reels or lines. Six numbered horses run a short race and you bet on the pair that finishes first and second, at odds shown on the board before the start.
Does the order of the two horses matter?
It doesn't look like it. The board has one box per pair, fifteen in all, and every result in the Last 5 Result panel is written with the lower number first. The in-game rules have the final word.
What is the 1,000,000 jackpot badge?
It is artwork on the rules screen. The rule itself says the Jackpot feature pays total bets x100 to the winner. None of our four screenshots shows it being paid.
